The kayak was paddled for three seasons during guided tours in Gwaii Haanas.  It is constructed from blue rotomolded polyethylene.  Kayak and gear are in good condition and available for viewing in Sandspit.

The Looksha V was built in the same mold as Necky's current model; the Looksha 17.  (They changed the name to reflect the kayak's length; it is 17 feet long.)
